Christmas morning in Gloucester

Gavin TownsendGavin Townsend decided instead of opening presents on Christmas Day, to enter the 47th annual Christmas morning 3 mile handicap, in Gloucester, organised by Severn Athletic Club.  This race is in its 47th year and is steeped in tradition allowing kids to open their presents and the turkey to roast without irritable runners sat around, getting cabin fever.  Well, it’s not often this time of year to get a daylight run in, is it?
