NEW VENUE: Sport Relief at Forest Green Rovers

Hannah Smith, Fitness Instructor and Cotswold Allrunners have joined forced to organise the Stroud and Nailsworth  contingent of the National Charity Event, Sport Relief

Sport Relief is back, and this time it’s from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st March. The whole of the UK will come together to get active, raise cash and change lives.

It has a unique history of dedicated people doing extraordinary things to make a difference – from David Walliams’ swim across the English Channel, to Eddie Izzard’s amazing marathon a day around the UK.

And that’s not to mention the thousands of incredible people who rise to the challenge by doing the
Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile. Or our amazing fundraisers who do something fun and active to raise cash and help make the world of difference. All the money raised by the public is spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both at home and across the world’s poorest countries. So be a part of it… Rise to the challenge for Sport Relief!

Forest Green Rovers Football, Nailsworth Primary School and Cotswold Allrunners invite you to take part in your local Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile! With loads of activities on offer it promises to be a great day for all the family. Why not come down in fancy dress for added fun? Enter the Mile today, get sponsored, chuck on your trainers and raise some money whilst enjoying the beautiful views!

All the facilities will be open and refreshments will be available throughout the day. There will also be cheerleading and dancing displays to keep you motivated as you do your Mile as well as Live music from Benandru.
