Welcome to the coaching and support page of the Cotswold Allrunners website. Hi, I’m Simon Barnes, a UK Athletics Performance Coach, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advisor. One of the most important issues when founding this club was to make sure that irrelevant of ability, fitness and commitment, everyone should be entitled to get the best coaching available to them.

Therefore at Cotswold Allrunners we have built a team of support to make sure we deliver our promise. With a mixture of UK athletics coaches, group leaders, nutrition advisors and sports therapists we know that you will be able to achieve your running and fitness goals, because the support is there.

Furthermore, every member of the team is also passionate about their sport and regularly challenges themselves in pursuit of their own goals. This combination ensures that we understand your needs and maintains the team standards and professionalism.

Hello. I’m Steve, and before you ask, yes it was a muddy race. Relatively new to running, I realise that whilst I am out enjoying myself and getting fitter, I can also help and motivate others. So as a group leader I can support you during your run and will always make sure everyone is OK.
